一進門,那熟悉曼谷街邊傳來的美食香氣,
好令人熟悉與會心一笑,聽說掌廚的兩位都是泰國人,
這也難怪,食物口感非常到位,看似簡單的裝潢,
卻道道地地的呈現了曼谷餐廳那熱情色調與燈光,
這裡是好泰,那個讓我記憶起曼谷美食之地。
其實曼谷餐廳歸類起來有兩大重要元素,瓶瓶罐罐與顏色豐富。
一進到好泰,空中金屬黑框的瓶罐置物架及
上方充滿泰國元素的料理香料佔滿相機視窗螢幕,在走道狹長的後方是座位區,
兩人坐與四人座的各一排,慵懶地靠牆沙發與昏暗的燈光增添了不少放鬆的氣氛,
再來則是長型多人聚餐桌,靠牆的是最代表曼谷的動物之一大象繪圖。
冬粉酸辣濃湯 NT$150
講起酸辣,雖然台灣也很多料理上面用這樣的名稱,
但與泰國那道地味道仍有很大的差異,
泰國酸辣多了很多海鮮濃郁的湯頭味道,
而且那酸度也不僅僅是醋味,還多了像是檸檬葉的酸度,
非常喜歡,對於想要回味泰國那種口味街邊小吃的酸辣,
很推薦來到好泰,吃上一碗冬粉酸辣濃湯。
媽媽麵泰式清湯 NT$150
號稱是泰國的國民泡麵,好泰的麵條很好吃,
彈性且附有高湯的鮮度,這道是清湯,味道比較鮮甜、純粹,
不會油膩,但要說起泰國料理的重口味,總覺得清湯這件事就是畫不上邊,
如果想體會正宗泰國街邊料理特別口感,還是推薦點上酸辣濃湯呀。
涼拌蝦 NT$150
很大量的風味來自檸檬葉,如果跟我一樣喜歡檸檬酸的朋友,
這道也很棒,涼拌海鮮冰冰涼涼的口感,與旁邊那碗酸辣麵絕配,
飯後再來杯甜膩但也一定要品嘗的泰式奶茶,真是一切完美。
泰式奶茶 NT$90
泰國的奶茶,因為茶葉本身基底味道就與台灣茶葉不同,
所以不管在色澤上或口感,都有很大的差異,
先從色澤上來說,泰式紅茶葉底是鮮紅色,
而甜膩是來自煉乳,不是糖,整杯也如同泰國料理般,
非常重口味,又是鮮紅、又是甜膩,這就是熱帶國家應該要有的風味阿!
從曼谷回來後,就一直尋尋覓覓的在找尋這種美味,
這次運氣很好的在台中找到了這間,又酸又辣的湯麵~
非常適合接下來炎炎夏日的台灣夏天呀!

Since I came back from Thailand, I've been missing Thai street food,
the sour and spicy taste. This time I'd like to introduce a restaurant situated in Taichung,
and the two chefs are reportedly Thais. No wonder the dishes are authentic.
The seemingly simple decorations present genuinely the hues and lights in Bangkok restaurants.
Cellophane Noodles served with Hot and Sour Soup, Mama Noodle Soup, Thai Shrimp Appetizers,
Thai Milk Tea. Speaking of hot and sour, although many of Taiwanese cuisines share the same titles above,
they're very different from the authentically Thai flavors,
which contain the extra pungent taste of soup base from seafood and sour of lemon leaves.
Mama Noodle Soup/ NT$150
This is dubbed Thai citizens' instant noodles.
The noodles are tasty and spongy, along with the freshness of stock.
This dish is served with broth, so it tastes fresher, pure, and not oily.
Thai Shrimp Appetizers/ NT$150
The sour flavor is mainly from lemon leaves, and if you like the sour of lemons as I do,
this dish is splendid. The cold taste of seafood matches that bowl of Hot and Sour Noodles.
After the meal, a glass of sweet and mellow Thai Milk Tea would make all perfect.
Foreign friends here, in addition to Taiwanese food,
if you want to eat Thai cuisines, "How Thai" is highly recommended.
