鹹菜鴨湯|這絕對也是古早味的代表作,阿嬤醃製的鹹菜做的湯,是許多台灣人古早的回憶,搭配帶皮的鴨肉有嚼勁,湯沒有我預期中的過鹹,反而與醃製過後的鹹菜完美的搭配。鹹菜的量也給的很足,算是超乎我預期的一道湯品。

最後一道介紹,但也是非常有特色的一道:蒸蛋湯。在台灣很少在小吃店看到這道。應該是說,到目前為止我還沒看過有別家。一樣放在筒仔裡面炊熟的蒸蛋,把食材的湯汁緊緊鎖在裡面,一放進高湯中,香菇清香搭配豬肉嫩汁,渾然天成一道相當好喝的湯品。

總結心得:能夠傳承三代的小吃店,果然實力不容小覷。除了代代相傳的手藝,店家親切有人情味的服務我想也是他們生意興隆的因素。不少老饕客絡繹不覺。最令人驚奇的,反而是他的湯品,用的都是同一鍋高湯,然而每一碗端出來的湯,卻各有各的特色,覺得值得你一嚐。

蔡家北港筒仔米糕距離高雄愛河只有幾尺,外地觀光客不妨騎著Ubike,繞完愛河後來品嚐喔。
