收穫。這間在在澳門最老永樂戲院牆邊賣的雞絲翅,就是冰箱第一間自
己在澳門找到的有歷史的美食名攤。

Because getting a license is not easy and quite rare, you can still
find small stalls on the streets of Macau selling local delicacies.
Be sure to activate your food radar and be adventurous, as you
will often find unexpected surprises. One such historic food stall
is the Chicken and Vermicelli Soup sold near the oldest cinema
in Macau, the Eternal Happiness Theater. This was the first food
stall with a history that I discovered on my own in Macau.

上又驅車前往威記牛雜解饞。想當然爾,這間牛雜怎可能隨到隨點隨拿?
排隊一定是標準配備,然後當然不是我排,哈哈!
By a twist of fate and circumstance, my first trip to Macau after
the pandemic restrictions were lifted led me to satisfy my cravings
at Wa Kei Beef Offal restaurant shortly after arriving and finishing
dinner. As expected, this renowned eatery for its delicious beef
offal is not a place for quick service, and queuing is a standard
requirement. Of course, I did not queue up myself, haha!
等待的空檔,就到旁邊澳門最老的永樂戲院晃晃,一個街口右轉竟然讓
我有一種發現新大陸的感覺。其實長年四處跑,什麼五星級的高級餐廳
大概都有涉足,但到了異地,最吸引我的還是這種路邊小吃。圖中這家
是澳門本地的路邊現炒大排檔,不過這種要多人一起吃比較有機會,只
能望著他流口水。
While waiting for some free time, I wandered around the oldest
cinema in Macau, the Alegria Theater(Yun Lo), and turning right
at a street corner gave me a feeling of discovering a new world.
Despite traveling around the world for years and experiencing
various high-end five-star restaurants, what attracts me the most
in a foreign place is still street food like this local stir-fried food
stall in the picture. However, this type of food is best enjoyed with
a group of people, so I could only salivate over it from afar.
這區還有其他兩家小攤,一家是文記粥品,而他的對面就是我們今天的
主角雞絲翅,三家聽說都是老店。不過這次因為時間緊迫沒有下手,回
去問了當地朋友才知道都是在地名店呀!
There are two other small stalls in this area. One is called
"Wen Ji Congee" and the other, which is opposite to our main
focus today, is "Chicken and Vermicelli Soup". I heard that all
three of them are long-established shops. However, due to time
constraints, we didn't try them out this time. After returning, we
asked our local friends and found out that they are all famous
local shops!
隔月再訪一行人又來到威記牛雜,結果不知道是誰帶賽,威記竟然公休
一天!!!(驚) 既然如此,那就來碗雞絲翅漱漱口先~
We visited Wa Kei Beef Offal restaurant again the following month,
but to our surprise, the restaurant was closed on the day we went.
Since it was closed, we decided to have some shredded chicken and
vermicelli soup to start our meal instead.
這家店只賣雞絲翅一種品項,大碗$16小碗$12。熟悉澳門的朋友們應該
知道澳門有一種叫做碗仔翅的相當有名,但是想吃一碗除了一樣要排隊
到天荒地老外,吃起來也不是挺便宜。雖然沒有錢卻又想感覺一下吃魚
翅羹的口感怎辦?這是後來碗雞絲翅當然是最佳選擇。雞絲翅的做法其實
很簡單,就是高湯加上雞絲及當假魚翅的粉絲煮好後打蛋花勾芡。因為
也沒有用到什麼名貴食材,才能以這種平易近人的價格供應。
This shop only sells one item, which is Chicken and Vermicelli Soup.
The large bowl is priced at $16 and the small bowl is priced at $12.
Those who are familiar with Macau should know that there is a
famous dish called "Imitation Shark Fin Soup" that one must
queue up for a long time to try. Although it's not very expensive,
for those who want to experience the taste of shark fin soup without
spending too much money, shredded chicken wings are the best
option. The method of making shredded chicken wings is actually
very simple. Chicken broth is added to shredded chicken and
vermicelli noodles, and then egg flower is added to thicken the soup.
Since no expensive ingredients are used, it can be sold at an
affordable price.
現場內用旁邊有小凳子可坐,記得一定要加紅醋跟胡椒粉味道層次會更
上一層樓。雖然澳門的羹湯不像台灣的肉羹、酸辣湯這類一樣內容物有
菜有肉那樣豐富,裡面只有蛋花、雞絲、粉絲,但是港澳人實實在在煲
湯的功力,可是台灣這邊店家望塵莫及的。第一口吃的時候可能還吃不
到那種驚豔感,但是越喝越順口,不知道不覺就把一碗幹掉了,哈~
There is a small stool next to the on-site soup pot for you to sit on.
Remember to add red vinegar and pepper to enhance the flavor.
Although Macau's soup is not as rich as Taiwan's meat soup or hot
and sour soup with vegetables and meat, it only contains egg flowers,
chicken shreds, and vermicelli. However, Hong Kong and Macau
people have real skills in soup making that Taiwan's restaurants
cannot match. The first bite may not be as amazing, but the more
you drink, the smoother it tastes. Before you know it, you've finished a
whole bowl. Ha!
